Evaluation 6 and 7

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Throughout creating my music magazine i feel i have learnt a lot. I have learnt how to use all the equipment needed to take professional looking images, software to create my music magazine and programmes that i needed to evaluate and plan my music magazine.

I used a range of equipment and technology when creating my music magazine. Here is some pictures of all the equipment i have used during the process of creating my music magazine. These pictures includes a light, a tri-pod, the camera i have used and a card reader. I used this equipment when taking photographs for my music magazine. I found using this equipment was quite easy once i had been shown how everything worked.

I also used the school and home computers to create my music magazine.

Blogger is the main programme i used when planning and producing my music magazine. I needed to learn how to use the programme very quickly as we had to update each piece of work we did to our blogs. I found blogger was fairly simple and easy to use and had no problem personalising it and uploading all of my work once i got used to how the programme worked. I also used other online programmes such as prezi, flickr and slideshare to be able to present my work in different ways. I had to learn how to use the programmes quickly but had no problem doing this as they were all simple and easy to use.  

I also used the programme photoshop when creating my music magazine. I had never used photoshop before so found i quite difficult to get to grips with it. However i by using my teachers tips for photoshop 'always return to the pointy tool' i was able to use the programme well. I used this programme when constructing my music magazine so had to use the programme often. After i had used the programme for my prelim task and practised with the programme i was able to use it well.

I used the programmes flickr and prezi as i way to preset my work. I had never used either of these programme and had to get to grips with them quite quickly. Once i used the programme i found they were very easy and simply to use once i got used to them. I did have a lesson on how to use prezi but this was after i had already used it to present my work so already knew what i needed to do. I found that both of these programmes were a very good way of presenting my work and have particularly used prezi many times to present my coursework.
