Still image originals

Here is the images i will be using in my magazine. I chose to use these images as i felt they were they best for lighting and pose out of the images i took. The models i have used are ones that i feel are similar to what would be used in a current music magazine. I have used a range of girls and boys in my images which will attract the readers. Before i use these photographs i plan to edit them by adjusting the lighting to make the images stand out better.

The photo on the left is the photograph i plan to use for the front cover of my music magazine. I chose to use this image on the front cover as it is a medium close up which will work well on my front cover. I plan to crop this photograph so it is closer up so will attract the attention of the reader. I chose to dress my model in a colourful dress which colours match the colours i plan to put on my front cover. By dressing my model in a colourful dress it will make the magazine front cover look fun and colourful which will fit with the genre of magazine. I also used lighting which i chose to use from above meaning the light fell on the models face.

I plan to use this photograph for my double page spread image. Before using this on my page i will lighten the image and crop it so it is closer up which will draw the readers attention to the double page spread. I dressed my model in casual clothes so the reader can relate to the model. I asked my model to wear very little make up but also wear pink lipstick so that she still looked girly. I also chose to have the lighting come from above in this photograph so the lighting fell on the models face highlighting the model in the photograph.





I plan to use this image for my contents page. I chose have the lighting focusing on the models face and take the image in a dark room which gave the image a more professional look. I asked the model to have a plain casual t shirt on for this photograph. I also asked the model to wear his glasses to give the model a 'geek sheek' look which would appeal to my audience. Before i use this image on my contents page i plan to edit the image so the flash reflection in his glasses has gone and lighten the image. I also plan to get rid of any imperfections on the model.

I also plan to use this image on the contents page. I also took this photograph in a dark room with the light focused on the models face which gave the photograph a more professional look. I also asked the model to wear a casual t shirt which the readers can relate too. Before i use this image in my music magazine i plan to edit it so the image is lighter and get rid of any imperfections on the model.

I also plan to use this image on my front cover. After my teacher looked at my music magazine i chose to add this image to the front cover. I used the natural lighting in this image to create the light. I also asked the model to wear a colourful dress in this image to reflect the fun genre of my pop magazine. Before i plan to use this image i will edit it so that the image is lighter which will attract the reader to the magazine.

This is the image i have chosen to use on my front cover. i have chosen this image as i felt it gave the magazine a more of a pop look than the one i used in my first front cover image. i will also include colours in this image on the front cover.
